We Start Partys

We Start Partys are a Bristol-based British pop and electronic act formed in 2009. The line-up comprises Ben, Matt, Dave, Elys and Ross. Their music combines elements associated with dance acts such as The Prodigy and Pendulum with electro-pop and punk, and they also draw on influences from Kids in Glass Houses and Blink-182.

The group build a reputation through live performance, with each member taking turns at the front of the stage and the band aiming to bring new sounds to each show. Their performances are described as energetic and uplifting, with distinctive lighting used on stage.

Within a year of forming, We Start Partys secure support slots with a range of UK acts including Fightstar, The Blackout, Young Guns, Deaf Havana, My Passion, We Are The Ocean, Fei Commodo, Bury Tomorrow, Lights and Sounds and Out Of Sight. They also plan a second EP titled Chasing Lights, along with a music video, merchandise and a full UK tour.
