We Could Be Astronauts

We Could Be Astronauts are a UK rock band based in York and active since 2009. Their sound draws on classic hard rock and grunge influences, with the band citing artists such as Led Zeppelin and Soundgarden as reference points. The group brings together musicians from the remains of earlier acts including The Seahorses, the post-Stone Roses project associated with Squire, and Hijak Oscar, which reaches the final of Channel 4’s Orange Unsigned competition.
