Wayward

Wayward is a German hard rock and metal group from Leipzig. The name has also been used by other acts, including an electronic production duo from London, UK, a US rock band from Reno, Nevada, and a psychedelic folk artist.

The London duo associated with the name first appears online in early 2013 with the track Only Flaw, which samples The Cure And The Cause. They follow this with Marvin, a track featuring a Marvin Gaye vocal sample. After remix work on John Newman’s Cheating and Tythe’s Summerbelly featuring Merz, they announce their first commercial release, Love Jones. Their Ugestu EP comes out on Black Butter Records and includes six tracks: belize, Waver featuring Elderbrook, baile, reverie, Hurricane featuring Michele Chiavarini, and ugestu.
