Wasted Life

Wasted Life are a hardcore punk band from Belgium, formed by guitarist Wayne “Rat” Ross, who also plays in The Rough Kutz and Section 5. The group goes through a number of line-up changes over time, and its members include former vocalist Jeff “JJ” Janiak, who previously sings with Dead Heros before later joining Broken Bones and Discharge, as well as later vocalist Magzy and guitarist Rat’s son, Sean Yearsley.

Recordings and releases

The band releases its first recording in 2009 as a split CD with Ratmonkey on Dirty Old Man Records. Its debut full-length album, It Means Nuthin When You’re Dead, appears in 2011 on Working Class / STP Records and leads to touring in the USA. In 2013 the band issues its second album, Weapons Of Self Destruction, on the Irish punk label Punkerama Records. After JJ leaves, the band records the self-released Regenerate EP. Its third studio album, World War Zero, follows in 2017.
