VS is an ambiguous name used by several different acts. It refers to a British pop group formed by Simon Webbe with Melody from DJ Pied Piper and singer-songwriter Ali Tennant; the group includes Jaime Summaz, Chinyere McKenzie, Blimi, Marvin Humes and Ryan Taylor, and releases the singles “Love You Like Mad”, “Call U Sexy” and “Make It Hot” as well as the album All Kinds Of Trouble. It also refers to a French progressive electro-pop/rock band.

The name is also used by Andrew Huang for a hip-hop emcee and producer alias, under which he releases material independently and through the conscious hip-hop label Prophetic Poetic. Another VS is VzyalSoundsystem, a Kiev-based Ukrainian electronic duo formed in early 2000 by Serge Dubrovsky, known as Dubmasta, and Eugene Stolbow, known as Stolbowie. That project works in ambient, dub and techno, draws on Jamaican roots music and dub, and releases albums, EPs, mixtapes and bootlegs, with a sixth album titled Save Our Sounds on Passage.
