Voyager

Voyager is an Australian metal band from Perth, active since 1999. The line-up includes Daniel “Nephil” Estrin, Mark De Vattimo, Geoff Callaghan, Emanuel Rudnicki, Melissa Fiocco, Mark Boeijen, Simone Dow, Alex Canion, Scott Kay and Ashley Doodkorte. The band records for IAV Records and Season of Mist.

Style and background

Voyager plays progressive metal and is also described as melodic progressive metal. Their music is noted for combining metal with synth-pop elements, with the band describing its sound as “80s synth pop on progressive metal narcotics”.
