Volk Soup

Volk Soup is a six-piece post-punk group from the United Kingdom, based in Leeds. Active since 2019, the band builds a sound around chaotic, brass-infused noise and art-punk, and is also associated with intense live performances.

Their music combines wiry post-punk, dissonant noise and bursts of free-jazz intensity. They describe their approach as being more concerned with style than genre, and their songs can move into avant-garde, country or disco elements.
