Vistas

Vistas is a Scottish indie rock band from Edinburgh. The group forms in 2016 and is active from then on. The members are Jamie Law, Prentice Robertson and Dylan Rush.

Early releases and rise

The band releases its first single, "Sign Language", in the summer after forming, followed by the EP Medicine. In September, it plays its first gig outside Scotland in Sheffield. During 2017, songs such as "Hold Me" and "Retrospect" gain attention through Spotify playlists including The Indie List and Hot New Bands.

Festivals, radio and touring

Vistas also plays major UK festivals including TRNSMT and Bestival. In 2018, the band receives further exposure through BBC Radio 1 and continued Spotify support for the singles "Calm" and "Tigerblood". Later that year, it tours with Bloxx on a co-headline run.

Later work

In 2019, Vistas releases a second EP, Hello, and supports it with its largest headline tour to date. The band also says on social media that it has signed a record deal, with a debut album to follow.
