Virtual Riot is the electronic music project of Valentin Brunn, a producer from Marl, Germany. Born in 1994, he works under the alias as a dubstep and drum and bass producer and is associated with complextro, electro house, electronic, and riddim dubstep, alongside related bass music styles.

Career

Brunn develops music mainly in riddim, future bass, future garage, electro house, and both bass-heavy and melodic dubstep. He releases material on Disciple, the label he joins in 2014. He is also part of Chodegang.

Releases

He releases seventeen extended plays and one studio album. Among his better-known EPs are Chemistry, which appears in 2016 and reaches number 20 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart, and German Engineering, which reaches number 11 on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart in 2018.

Earlier work and collaboration

Before using the name Virtual Riot, Brunn produces ambient dubstep and future garage under the alias Your Personal Tranquilizer. He later announces a publishing deal with Skrillex's OWSLA.
