Viper

Viper is a Brazilian power metal band that forms in 1985 and remains active. It is one of the pioneering heavy metal acts in Brazil.

History and releases

The band records its first demo, The Killera Sword, two years after forming. Its second album, Theatre of Fate, follows, and Evolution appears in 1992. In the following year, the band releases Maniacs in Japan, a live recording made in Japan. Roadrunner Records issues Coma Rage in 1995.

To mark two decades of the band, Viper releases the DVD Living for the Night – 20 years of VIPER, which includes a documentary, testimonials from band members, the band’s history, video clips, and a concert in Japan from 1993. After an eleven-year gap without a new album, the band releases All My Life in 2007.
