Vicious Irene is a Swedish all-girl punk group from Gothenburg, active since 2001. The band plays punk with a melodic approach, combining d-beat, rock’n’roll and vocal harmonies. Its sound is described as raw and direct, with lyrics focused on simple ideas about breaking social norms.

Formed at the end of 2001, the group spends much of its time playing gigs and touring, mainly across Europe. Its style is rooted in punk and is associated with riot grrrl and Swedish punk scenes.
