Vice Versa
Vice Versa is a group from Los Angeles. It is identified in the available information as the Sheffield synthpop band that formed in 1977, with Stephen Singleton, Mark White and David Sydenham as the original members. The band later becomes associated with the formation of ABC, a successful pop group that includes future Vice Versa members.
Early years and releases
The group founds its own label, Neutron Records, and releases the EP Music 4. It has links to the Human League scene and supports The Human League in 1978. Martin Fry, who writes the fanzine Modern Drugs, interviews the band and then joins on synthesizer, after which Vice Versa evolves into ABC with Fry moving to vocals.
