Versus You

Versus You is a punk rock group from Luxembourg, active since 2005. The band begins as a three-piece, with Eric on vocals and guitar and Giordano on bass, before Pit joins on drums after several months of searching for a drummer. Later, after Pit leaves to focus on Eternal Tango, Mike from Nervous Chillin takes over on drums.

The group plays a form of punk-rock sound and is described as drawing on influences from punk bands from Berkeley and Chicago. Its music is compared with Jawbreaker, Jets to Brazil and Jawbox, and is also said to carry a noisy edge associated with Sonic Youth and Nirvana.

Versus You’s debut record, marathon, is released on the German label Fond Of Life Records. A second album is planned in the band's early period. The line-up is also associated with Giordano Bruno, Michael Lahier, Jimmy Leen, Eric Rosenfeld and Jerry Kirpach.
