VC Pines is Jack Mercer, a London artist born in 1994, and the former frontman of The Carnabys. He moves away from indie rock and works in alternative soul, poetry and punk performance. His solo project draws on electronic, punk, indie and indie pop influences, alongside soul and spoken performance.
