Vales

Vales are a hardcore band from Cornwall, England, formed in March 2011. The group is a four-piece and was previously known as Veils. Their sound sits between screamo and aggressive hardcore, with a melodic hardcore and hardcore punk edge.

Early years and activity

Since June 2011, Vales play more than 100 shows across the UK and Europe. In their first year, they put out two releases and build a reputation quickly within the UK hardcore scene.

Style

The band’s music combines anguished screamo elements with forceful hardcore and a strong emphasis on intensity and commitment. They are associated with melodic hardcore, hardcore, UKHC, modern hardcore and hardcore punk.
