Utopian Love Revival is a group from El Cerrito, United States, active between 1959 and 1972. Its members are Tom Fogerty, Doug Clifford, Stu Cook and John Fogerty. The group works across blues rock, classic rock, country rock, folk rock, rock and rock and roll.

Style and activity

The group’s sound is associated with retro influences and a broad mix of styles, including psychedelia, Motown, 1990s lo-fi, grunge, Americana, proto-punk and glam rock. Its music is also linked to the influence of artists such as The Rolling Stones, The Stooges, the Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Modern Lovers and Neil Young.

Utopian Love Revival is described as a collaborative project, working with other artists as well as established producers and engineers, and making environments and psychedelic videos. It also performs regularly at venues and festivals around the UK.
