Unkle Monty
Unkle Monty forms in March 2007 and performs rock music with a sound the group describes as energetic, anthemic and “rock solid”. Within four months of forming, the band is out playing shows and building a live presence. The group presents itself as a kind of supergroup, with all of the members having previous experience in other music projects.
By May 2008, Unkle Monty releases new studio material containing four tracks. The band is active around gigs and presents itself as having a substantial live schedule and an established following.

The band’s influences include Incubus, Foo Fighters, Reef, Stereophonics, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Lostprophets, Portishead, Radiohead, Muse, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, Pink Floyd, Keane, Drive By Truckers, Massive Attack, Supergrass, The Blackout, The Sweet, Fleetwood Mac, Government Mule, Jimi Hendrix, The Clash, the Allman Brothers, Blondie, the Kinks, the Rolling Stones and the Beatles.
