UNGLUED

UNGLUED is the recording name of Joshua Brown, a UK-based drum and bass producer signed to Hospital Records. His work draws on jungle, jazz, funk, soul and hardcore, and he also works across UK garage, dubstep and footwork.

Releases and recognition

His debut album, Interplanetary Radio, presents that mix of styles and receives support from a range of radio tastemakers including Annie Mac, Gilles Peterson, René LaVice, Shadow Child and Charlie Tee. In 2019, Annie Mac names Born In 94, featuring MC Conrad, as her “hottest record in the world”, and UNGLUED contributes a “Brief History of Breakbeat” minimix for BBC Radio 1. He also gains attention for a bootleg version of High Contrast’s “If We Ever”, which becomes a widely sought-after dubplate.
