Underview

Underview are an unsigned indie rock band from Hemel Hempstead. The group has been together since 2005 and begins by building experience through local venues and battle-of-the-band competitions before moving on to shows in London and other parts of the UK.

Live work and wider recognition

The band plays a range of London venues, including Barfly and Relentless Garage, and also performs at venues elsewhere in the UK. It reaches the finals of Surface Unsigned and places seventh out of 12,000 bands in the UK. Underview also plays at festivals, with its first major festival appearance at Guilfest, where it appears on the same bill as Motorhead, The Charlatans, Athlete, Happy Mondays, Brian Wilson, Will Young and You Me At Six.

Support slots and radio

Underview supports The Holloways and The Joy Formidable. It also works with the BBC and performs live on BBC 3 Counties on the BBC Introducing show.

Charity work

The band is involved in charity work with Oxjam.
