Uncle Lucius

Uncle Lucius is an Austin-based American group formed in 2005. It is associated with alternative country, americana and country, and is also described as a Southern rock and jam band. The group remains active.

Line-up

The band includes Kevin Galloway on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Hal Vorpahl on bass, Mike Carpenter on lead guitar and vocals, Josh Greco on drums and percussion, and Jon Grossman on lead vocals and keys.

Recordings

Uncle Lucius releases Something They Ain't in 2006, followed by Pick Your Head Up in 2009. Its third album, And You Are Me, comes out in 2012 and is recorded in Austin and Nashville. The band also releases Like It's The Last One Left in 2023.

Activity

The group is on hiatus from March 2018 until it announces a new tour in late 2022.
