Ummet Ozcan is a Dutch DJ and record producer, born in 1982 and rooted in the Netherlands. He is originally of Turkish descent and is associated with the project Soundshaperz.

Music

Ozcan is best known for producing trance records. His releases appear regularly in the higher reaches of the Beatport trance charts, and his work receives support from DJs including Sander van Doorn, Armin van Buuren, Tiësto and Markus Schulz.

His better-known tracks include TimeWave Zero on Doorn Records, Arcadia on Doorn Records and Shamballa on Reset. He is also linked with other releases beyond these tracks.

Production and sound design

Alongside his releases, Ozcan works in softsynth and soundbank design. He does this for music software companies including Rob Papen, where he contributes to Albino and Predator, and Access Music, where he works on Virus.
