Ulla

Ulla is a Philadelphia-based ambient DJ and producer who begins releasing music in 2016. Her work sits within ambient and experimental music, and also connects with spoken word and ambient dub.

Recording name

She originally records as Ulla Straus, then shortens the name to Ulla in 2020, beginning with Tumbling Towards A Wall. Foam, from 2022, is her latest album.

Collaborations and groups

Alongside solo releases, she works with other artists including Pontiac Streator and Perila. Her collaborative projects with Perila include Perila and Ulla and LOG. She is also a member of The Blessed Kitty, virtualdemonlaxative and wiggle room.
