U

U is a Japanese singer and songwriter from Kanagawa Prefecture, known for work in denpa, akiba pop and j-pop. She first debuts in Sony Records as part of the duo Funta with Yoshimi. In that group she is credited as UCO, and later uses the Funta3 credit.

She later debuts as a solo artist under the name U with the song “Puka Puka”, which serves as the theme song for the PC version of the game Sweet Legacy. She also performs theme songs for several adult games from Frontwing.

Alongside singing, U works as a songwriter and provides music for other artists as a lyricist, composer and arranger.
