TX2

TX2 is the project of Evan Thomas, also credited as Timothy Evan Thomas, from Fort Collins, Colorado. The act works in emo and alt-rock, with tags also placing it in alternative rock, pop punk, punk and punk rock.

Career

In 2023, a clip of the song I Would Hate Me Too spreads online and brings the project to the attention of Hopeless Records. TX2 signs to the label in July 2023 and goes on to release more than a dozen singles and two EPs through it.

The project includes Evan Thomas on lead vocals and Cameron “Cam” Rostami on guitar and backing vocals.

Themes and activity

TX2 is open about LGBTQ identity and allyship, and it plays at protests and speaks about LGBTQ rights at shows. The project also uses YouTube and TikTok to discuss mental health and equality.
