Twenty Eight

Twenty Eight is a psychedelic trance duo from Goiânia, active since 2005. The group consists of Rene Sanchez Flores and Pedro O’Dwyer. Its name refers to the number 28, which it presents as a symbolic number.

The project begins in 2005 as a collaboration between DJ Shove, described as a Mexican trance artist, and DJ Pedrao, a Brazilian dancefloor DJ. Their sound is built around spacey textures, aggressive synthesizers, strong percussion and heavy basslines. The result is a psychedelic style that combines full-on energy with progressive and groove elements.

After two years of work, the duo makes its live debut at Universo Paralello in 2008. The project is associated with psytrance and psychedelic trance, with tags also including full-on, progressive trance and groove.
