Tryptich

Tryptich is an experimental noise duo from Berlin, Germany. The project also appears as a production name used by Saam Hodivala, who spends nearly 10 years working as a drum and bass producer under the name Sidius and co-founds the label Steam Recordings with Wayz.

Style and work

From 2012, Hodivala moves into midtempo bass music and combines elements of drum and bass, techno and psychedelic-influenced sounds. The first release associated with the project is Twister and Eucalyptus, issued on Colony Productions in 2012. The music is described as pairing crisp sequencing with harsh, dirty noise textures.
