Trucker Diablo

Trucker Diablo are a hard rock band from Northern Ireland, active since 2008. They are described as a four-piece formed by friends who come together to play music shaped by their individual tastes, and they build an audience through local support and the internet.

Background

The band is presented as a Northern Ireland super group because of the members’ earlier work in other acts. Simon Haddock previously plays in Joyrider, a band that signs to A&M Records in the late 1990s, tours internationally, and appears on Top of the Pops with the single “Rush Hour”, which reaches number 22 in the UK chart. Tom Harte and Terry Crawford are members of Tilted, a hard rock group that signs to Shattered Records in the late 1990s and tours in the US, UK and Canada.

Releases and collaborations

Trucker Diablo release their debut album The Devil Rhythm. The record includes a guest appearance from Ricky Warwick, who is identified as frontman of New Model Army’s “The Almighty” fame and as a Northern Irish rock musician. The band also receives praise from Joe Elliott of Def Leppard.

Live work

The group performs on the local circuit and supports Ricky Warwick and Adam Bomb on UK tours.
