Tristan Horncastle

Tristan Horncastle is a Canadian country singer and songwriter from Fredericton, New Brunswick. He releases music as a solo artist and builds his songs around personal experience, with tracks such as “She Brings The Beer,” “You Want” and “Drinkin’ Girl” reflecting that approach.

Career

Horncastle releases his first EP in 2011 and later follows with his debut album A Little Bit Of Alright, which becomes a Top 5 selling album and helps establish him on Canadian radio. He then releases Turnin’ Up A Sundown as his next album, with the title track written by Jason Blaine. The album is recorded at Nashville’s Sound Stage Studio and produced by Julian King and Bart Butler, and it features eight tracks performed with musicians from Music City.

Performances and recognition

He shares stages with Travis Tritt, Dean Brody, Joe Diffie and Leann Rimes. In 2015, Horncastle receives a Canadian Country Music Association Award nomination in the Rising Star category and a Canadian Radio Music Award nomination for Best New Group or Solo Artist in the Country category. He also wins three Prix Music NB awards: Album of the Year, Country Artist of the Year and Fans’ Choice.
