Trioxin Cherry is a Nottingham horror punk group formed in the summer of 2008. The band begins after guitarist and vocalist Petegrinder and bassist Steve Zombi leave their former band, Fallen Skies, and start developing a project built around horror themes and hard-edged rock. The name reflects that mix of horror imagery and catchy rock material.

Line-up and early activity

The group recruits local guitarist 8-Ball after an informal meeting, and the three reportedly connect quickly in rehearsal. In 2009, BTK joins on drums and the band begins playing live dates. Later that year, Steve Zombi leaves the group. The line-up is associated with Luke Birch.

Trioxin Cherry works within horror punk, combining horror-inspired subject matter with rock songs and a female vocal presence.
