Trio Dhoore
Trio Dhoore is a Belgian folk trio from Sint-Lievens-Houtem, active since 2011. The group consists of Hartwin Dhoore, Koen Dhoore and Ward Dhoore.
It plays instrumental folk music from Flanders, built around driving grooves, swinging melodies and tight ensemble playing. The trio performs these elements live as a compact, rhythmic mix of new folk music.
Its second album, Parachute, is presented as a tribute to the pleasure of making music together as brothers. The album also draws on stories and encounters collected while travelling to and from concerts over several years, with these experiences forming the basis of the record.
