Tremonti

Tremonti is a United States hard rock band fronted by Mark Tremonti. Formed in 2012, it operates as a group rather than a solo project, with line-ups including Mark Tremonti, Garrett Whitlock, Eric Friedman, Ryan Bennett, Tanner Keegan and Wolfgang Van Halen.

Background

The band begins as a side project for Mark Tremonti, who is also known as the guitarist in Creed and Alter Bridge. Its sound is described as having a stronger metal base than either of those bands, and it is associated with hard rock, alternative metal, post-grunge and thrash metal.

Releases

Tremonti’s debut album, All I Was, appears in 2012. Its first single, “You Waste Your Time,” reaches the iTunes rock top 10 in several countries, and a second single, “Wish You Well,” follows in 2013.

In 2022, Mark Tremonti releases an album of Frank Sinatra covers performed with the original Sinatra band, with proceeds going to Down syndrome charities. He then releases a Christmas album in 2023, which includes classic Christmas songs and an original track, “Christmas Morning.”
