Tremaine

Tremaine is a pop, rock and alternative artist from Baltimore, Maryland, who later settles in Virginia. He develops an interest in philosophy while living in Virginia, and this shapes the way he thinks about writing and presenting his music.

He works for years on finding a way to combine philosophical ideas with his songs, describing a wish to push musical boundaries and create something with a strong sense of mystery. His friend Kenna encourages that approach by telling him not to reveal too much too soon.

For his self-titled debut, Tremaine works with producer Phil Seadford. Seadford has also worked with Jewel, Chad, Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes, and American Idol winner Kris Allen. The release is described as mixing bright colours of sound with an aggressive pop approach.

Tremaine’s style draws on a range of influences, including Beatles-style melodies, R&B, and comparisons to Justin Timberlake and Fall Out Boy. His music is presented as aiming for a distinctive, boundary-crossing sound rather than a straightforward pop formula.
