Traits

Traits is a punk band from Leeds in the UK. It forms in 2011 from the songwriting and lyricism of Psy Harrison, with twin brother Dan Harrison providing musicianship and lifelong friend Maltz also part of the group. John Stainstrop and Ben Calvert add further family connections to the line-up.

Style and influences

The group draws on independent music, direct lyricism and an escapist approach to writing. Its influences include The Eels, Why?, Joy Division and Ghostpoet.

Context
