Trails

Trails is a name used by several different acts, including a project from Orlando, Florida by Bryan Burgos and Kyle Potter; an Oakland, California group described as folk pop and bossa nova; a UK band formed in late 2010; and a San Diego act with a separate backstory and release history.

Orlando project

The Orlando version of Trails is made up of Bryan Burgos and Kyle Potter. It is associated with music shared through Bandcamp, SoundCloud and Facebook under the Trails name.

Oakland group

Another Trails is based in Oakland, USA, and is described as a folk pop bossa nova band. It is linked to the trailmap Bandcamp page.

UK band

The UK Trails project forms in late 2010 and plays an energetic style built around melodic vocals and heavy guitar riffs. Its live shows are described as loud and forceful. The band’s debut EP is recorded and produced by James Kenosha, who also works with acts including Pulled Apart By Horses and Dinosaur Pile-Up. The single All The Other Humans is released ahead of the EP, and the group is actively gigging the material and building a reputation on the underground circuit.

San Diego band

A further Trails is from San Diego, California and features one Zorn Borcom and three Tarf Moyyabbalobbiss. This version emerges from the remains of Skreem Krike Rewrite, a 1980s goth rock group. After a period apart, the members regroup in 2003, form Trails, tour widely, and release albums including Born to Zorn, Die Tarf Die and Remember the Titans? NOPE!.
