Torul

Torul is a Slovenian electronic act active since 2010, led by Borut Torul Bernik. It develops from Bernik’s work as a producer and DJ in Ljubljana, where he is active in electronic club music from 1992 and is regarded as one of the scene’s early figures.

Early work and aliases

Before working under the Torul name, Bernik performs and records with Alenia under the name Clox and under other aliases. He then begins releasing solo material in 1999.

Releases and labels

Torul issues material through a range of labels, including Low Spirit in Berlin, Thule Musik in Reykjavik, Force Inc in Frankfurt, Touch Tone, Compressed, Absense in Slovenia, and Matrix Musik. The project also covers DJ sets, live sets, and live acts.
