TOO MANY ZOOZ

TOO MANY ZOOZ are a New York brass band formed in 2014. The group operates as a three-piece and is active from 2014 to the present. Its line-up consists of Matt Muirhead on trumpet, Leo Pellegrino on baritone saxophone, and David Parks on drums.

The band is associated with brass band, instrumental, jazz, jazz fusion and nu jazz styles, and it also describes its sound as “brass house”.

In January 2014, a live performance recorded in New York’s Union Square spreads online and draws wider attention. The group then releases its first EP, F Note.
