Tony Roots, born Anthony Stultz, is a roots reggae singer and songwriter from the United Kingdom. He grows up in Mandeville, Jamaica, where he is schooled and learns music skills before moving to the UK to continue his academic studies and musical career.

Career

From the late 1980s onwards, Tony Roots records with a range of companies and producers. He is known across Europe and has wider recognition for his songwriting, his lyrical content and his vocal delivery. His work sits within roots reggae, but he also performs over lovers and other reggae rhythms.
