Tomorrow Belongs To Us

Tomorrow Belongs To Us are a British heavy band formed in 2006, originally as a four-piece before becoming a five-piece in 2008. The line-up is Rob Maddison on vocals, Leemo Hill on guitar, Bryan Hopper on guitar, Lee Corrigan on bass and Matt Hatter on drums. The band comes from Essex, with one member from Sunderland.

Style and activity

The band’s sound is described in different ways, including metalcore, screamo, hardcore and easycore, and they present it as a mix of heavy guitars and strong melodies. Their material develops from early writing that leads into a more individual style they describe as their own heavy, melodic noise.

Releases and development

The band’s early output includes the EP Sound of the Second Life, which follows their move to a four-piece in 2008. After a year of gigs across the south of England and further writing, they record their first album, We Are But Shadows, in January 2010. Bryan Hopper joins after a search for a new guitarist, and the album is released through online sales and at shows. The band also sells special edition Ghostbusters T-shirts.
