Tommy Trash emerges as one of the prominent names in Australian dance music. He builds a catalogue of more than 40 originals and remixes, and establishes a reputation for prolific output across production and DJ work.

Releases and chart success

Among his best-known tracks is Need Me To Stay, which earns an ARIA Award nomination for Best Dance Release. The single enters the ARIA Top 50 Singles Chart at number 14 and reaches number two on the ARIA Club Chart. It is described as his most successful release. At one point, two of his remixes hold the top two places on the ARIA Club Chart at the same time.

Remixes and compilation work

He remixes material for artists including Lady Sovereign, Kaskade, Green Velvet and Armand Van Helden. His remix of Green Velvet’s Shake N Pop is displaced from the top of the ARIA Club Chart by his remix of Armand Van Helden’s I Want Your Soul. He also mixes several Ministry of Sound compilation albums, including Electro House Sessions One, Electro House Sessions Two and Sessions Six. The latter is a platinum-selling release that reaches number one on both the ARIA Compilation Chart and the iTunes Album Chart.
