Tomb Crew

Tomb Crew are a UK group made up of two DJs and one MC. They describe themselves as more than a band, and their live sets centre on bass-heavy dance music. Their performances draw on b-more, dubstep, garage, grime, electro-house and old skool sounds, and they play to crowds from London to New York.

Style and live shows

The group is associated with grime, dubstep, dancehall, bassline and remix culture. Their sets focus on high-energy club material, built from a wide range of bass music styles. They are also known for performing in matching T-shirts carrying the Tomb Crew name.

Production and remixes

J@peg, the crew’s producer, works on b-more-influenced dubstep and kuduro productions. He remixes tracks for Crookers, Drop the Lime, Oh Snap!, Totally Extinct Dinosaurs, Last Japan and Let’s Go To War, among others. Tomb Crew’s remixes appear on Greco Roman, the label associated with Hot Chip, and on Southern Fried, the label founded by Fatboy Slim. Their original releases also appear on Bass=Win, the label run by former Bomb funk MC Rico Tubbs.
