Tom Peel

Tom Peel is a folk and singer-songwriter from Birmingham, England. He performs acoustic and alternative material, and his songs sit within an alt-folk style.

His first self-titled album appears in 2005. Early tracks include The Pier, which draws on the work of Simon & Garfunkel and Nick Drake, and Creases and Grooves, which shows an early interest in unusual bedroom production techniques. Those production ideas become more prominent on later records including Blockbiscuits from 2007 and Log Off from 2009.

In 2010, he signs to Speech Fewapy, which goes on to release the Tripple Click It EP in 2011. He also shares stages with Slow Club and David Thomas Broughton.
