Tom Lumley
Tom Lumley is a musician from Cambridge. He is a saxophonist and composer whose work spans several projects and performances in improvised and contemporary music settings.
Education
Lumley attends Leeds College of Music, where he studies with saxophonists Mornington Lockett and Christophe De Beznac of trio VD, as well as pianist Mathew Bourne. He graduates in 2008 with a first-class honours degree and receives the Saxophone Performance award.
Projects and associations
He performs and writes for a range of projects, including the band Omnivore, and is a member of LIMA, the Leeds Improvised Music Association.
Performances
His work appears at Fuse Festival 2009, Leeds International Film Festival and Oxjam Manchester 2009.
