Born in Aberystwyth (Wales) 1987 Tom Lumley has an interest in music from an early age. He attended Leeds College of Music where he studied under saxophonists Mornington Lockett, Christophe De Beznac (trio VD) and Pianist Mathew Bourne. Having graduated from the College in 2008 with a 1st class hons degree and winning the Saxophone Performance award Tom Lumley performs and writes for many different projects including the critically aclaimed band "Omnivore" and is a member of LIMA (Leeds Improvised Music Association) . His work has been performed in festivals such as "Fuse Festival 2009", "Leeds International Film Festival" and "Oxjam Manchester 2009" .
