Tkay Maidza

Takudzwa Victoria Rosa Maidza is a singer and rapper from Harare and Adelaide. She is active in styles including afro house, alternative hip hop, alternative R&B, club, dance-pop, electronic, hip-hop and pop.

She is known by her stage name Tkay Maidza. Her family moves to Australia in 2001, and she grows up in several places there, including Perth and Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, and Whyalla in South Australia, before settling in Adelaide in 2010.

Her father works as an industrial chemist and her mother as a metallurgist. Her debut album, Tkay, is released in 2016.
