Tiny Dragons

Tiny Dragons are a Brighton-based post-punk and indie rock group formed in 2010. They also draw on dance-punk, and their sound is described in terms of a strong live performance and a large, cinematic arrangement style.

Line-up and sound

The band is fronted by Lizzie, whose soulful vocal style sits against her bass playing and the group’s guitar-led textures. Their music is shaped by influences that include Billie Holiday, Esperenza Spalding, Faithless, Pink Floyd and Massive Attack, bringing together elements associated with jazz, electronic music and classic rock.

Activity and releases

Tiny Dragons tour in the UK and have also performed in Europe. Their debut single is Come Alive, which appears on a four-track EP. The song is presented as the group’s first single and as a key example of their style.
