Tino

Tino is a UK breakbeat trio made up of Jack Dangers, Mike Powell and Ben Stokes, all of whom are also members of Meat Beat Manifesto. The group works with dub, breakbeat and electronic sounds, and it is represented on record, DVD and CD covers by a plastic figure.

Releases

The group releases six volumes of its Tino’s Breaks series. The first two volumes focus on breaks. Volume 3 has a Christmas theme and appears only on vinyl. Volume 4 has a mambo theme. Volumes 5 and 6 move towards a more dub-oriented sound, and volume 6 also has a Halloween theme.

It also releases Dub Select, an album that collects tracks from volumes 5 and 6.
