Tilted Smile
Tilted Smile is a rock and roll power trio from Burton upon Trent, active since 2005. The band describes itself as fast, visual and edgy, and it develops a following through live work and recorded releases.
Career and recognition
In 2006, the band wins Jack Daniel’s vote for UK’s Best New Band. As part of that recognition, Jack Daniel’s flies the group to the United States to tour in Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee, and to record at Sun Studio.
Live work and collaborations
The group tours extensively in the UK and also performs at festivals in Scotland, Wales and Norway. It shares bills with a range of acts including The 22-20s, Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly, Carter USM, The Five O’Clock Heroes, Grand Island, Trevor Burton of The Move, Adam Zindani of Stereophonics, Superfamily, Blakfish, My Architects, Animal Alpha, Hijak Oscar, New Cassettes and Dean Deavall of Feeder.
Recordings
Tilted Smile promotes the debut album Live at Sun Studio. The band also works in the studio on a follow-up record.
