There are two artists called Tigers on Vaseline.
1. Tigers on Vaseline is a band from Denton, TX in 2004, using a badly-abused Tascam four-track, Casio keyboards, Fruity Loops drum programming and dollar-store microphones. The members are Anthony and Dustin from Best Fwends, Ryan from Machine Gun Romantics, and Payton from Wax Museums. A few songs featured extra vocalists.
Two songs were later used by Best Fwends: "Dump In The Dark" and "Get Cleen (feat. Tigers on Vaseline)".
In September 2009, the song "Non-Nipular Candy Corn" was included with the free download Short Attention Span compilation.
There is an upcoming split record with unreleased demos by Black Panda as a memorial to fellow lo-fi four-track enthusiast and dear brother Beau Velasco.
2. Tigers on Vaseline are also a David Bowie tribute band, based in Glasgow, UK.
