THUS:OWLS is a Swedish-Canadian rock band based in Stockholm and Montréal, active since 2007. The group forms around Simon Angell and Martin Höper, and its line-up develops from a multinational circle of musicians who settle in Stockholm and build the project there.

The band begins as a group of four friends before a musician from Montréal joins them, bringing the membership to five. Erkia Alexandersson brings the members together with the aim of turning the music she hears in her head into something other people can hear and feel. From there, the group explores a wide musical range and establishes its present form as THUS:OWLS.
