Thrasher

Thrasher is a US speed metal and heavy metal group from New York, active from 1983 to 1985. The line-up includes Carl Canedy, Andrew “Duck” MacDonald, Gary Bordonaro, Gary Driscoll, Rhett Forrester, Maryann Scandiffio and Jack Starr.

History

The group is formed around New York-based musicians and is put together at the instigation of Combat Records. Carl Canedy of The Rods produces, directs and arranges the project with Andy “Duck” MacDonald of Blue Cheer.

Release

Thrasher issues the album Burning At The Speed Of Light, which is released in Britain through Music For Nations.
