Those Dancing Days

Those Dancing Days are an indie pop group from Nacka, Sweden. Their sound draws on northern soul and girl-group influences. The band forms in 2005 and is active from 2006 to 2011. The line-up includes Linnea Jönsson on vocals, Lisa Pyk Wirström on organ, Rebecka Rolfart on guitar, Mimmi Evrell on bass and Cissi Efraimsson on drums.

Career

The group receives significant attention in 2007 and appears in NME and on MTV2. That year, they are nominated for Best Swedish Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Before signing to Wichita, they release a five-track EP in Sweden. Wichita then releases their self-titled single in October 2007, followed by the single Hitten.

Albums

Their debut album, In Our Space Hero Suits, is released in 2008 and is preceded by the single Run Run. Their second album, Daydreams and Nightmares, is released in 2011. Later that year, the band says it is putting the group to bed for a while.
